In July we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of bright and enthusiastic students from St. Catherine’s British School in Athens to our offices as part of the school’s pilot internship-partnership program in collaboration with the University & Careers Guidance Office. This initiative aims to help prepare students for their future decisions by gaining valuable work experience while exploring their career choices. In total, 33 Year 12 students will be visiting 11 companies from 7 different industry sectors, including the legal sector.
Our team of lawyers and experts delivered insightful presentations, sharing their knowledge to guide these students in their career orientation. We had the opportunity to introduce the students to the beauty and challenges of the legal profession, and the diverse legal services we provide.
Nicholas Papapolitis, Managing Partner, engaged in an inspiring discussion, offering mentoring and coaching. He emphasized to the students that in their next steps towards their professional choices, it is crucial to uphold two values: commitment to what they do and consistency. Additionally, our litigation team took the students to the Supreme Court and the Athens Court of Appeals to witness the life of a lawyer in action.
We wish the students the best of luck in their future endeavors and are excited to see what they will achieve!
