The conference spotlighted the pivotal role of FIDIC contracts in addressing challenges within the construction industry, both domestically and globally. While FIDIC contracts are a cornerstone of international construction projects, their adoption in Greece is still evolving. Given the limited framework of the Greek Civil Code for construction contracts and the relatively untested use of dispute resolution mechanisms like Dispute Adjudication Boards, the timing of this discussion is critical.
With Greece embarking on construction initiatives exceeding EUR 11 billion, the insights shared at this event offered valuable guidance for legal practitioners, in-house counsel, and industry leaders.
