Papapolitis & Papapolitis is advising CrediaBank on its strategic investment in Pantelakis Securities through the acquisition of a 70% stake for a cash consideration of EUR 8.75 million. The transaction also includes call and put option arrangements for the acquisition of the remaining 30% shareholding, exercisable three years following completion.
Founded in 1920, Pantelakis Securities is one of Greece’s most established names in securities services and a member of Euronext Athens. The acquisition will strengthen CrediaBank’s capital markets capabilities and diversify its revenue base, while providing Pantelakis Securities with access to the Bank’s wider client network.
The P&P team is led by Partner Elmina Chadio, assisted by Senior Associate Chrysoula Giannopoulou.
